Default Station Inn Ribblehead.

Has anybody any experience of parking up by the Ribblehead viaduct, supping good ale and eating good pub grub. Its not far from home and a good spot I think to do the first wild camp

i believe you can camp on the land opposite the pub but there are lots of places near the pub if not.
its been a while since i was up that way but i remember some parking places near the T junction just down the road.
nice friendly pub but the food aint cheap.
the pub carpark entrance was big enough to get our kontiki in so there is always the option of asking the landlord about camping in the carpark if you're really stuck.

john.

PS.......just had a look on google earth and there is a carpark at the railway station.(road opposite the pub)....whether you can wild there or not is another question but it looks quite. i didnt even know there was a station.
