Does anyone happen to know if its OK to park/sleep in Douglas during the TT week. The last time I went I'm sure I saw a number of vans parked up that didn't seem to move for the entire week.

Thanks. I called them. Officially its not allowed but (off the record) no one will say anything over the TT week as long as you are sensibly parked and not drawing attention by the state of the van or the mess around it.
No sadly there will not be any bikes going but its a damned good idea for next year
Hi There, l know its a bit late for 2008 TT, but, if you want to for the 09 TT, you can wildcamp almost anywhere on the island. l have lived here for over 20 years, and can put you onto some nice spots, regards, Simsy.
