Munchies in Benidorm

My manager as a child had always heard folk talk of Benidorm. So, she wanted to see it so here we are at Villasol.
Benidorm is much as we expected, a bit like Blackpool with sunshine. I have to say though it is MUCH cleaner.

Although we are not "town" people we found it to be an experience and could spend a week here though leaving Sunday for Benicasim as we need to meander back to France to sort some things out.

Hi Ken, Before leaving go and have lunch at La Cala overlooking a small bay. Its 5 minutes drive out of Benidorm but could be a thousand miles.

Very nice walks to the lookout point and up to the cross. For the more adventurous you can walk from the cross to Albir (across the Sierra Helalda) and catch a bus back. It is a spectacular walk that takes 5-6 hours but be careful, the path has a 1000 feet drop beside it. We found some great cycle rides as well.
