First trip in MH to Amsterdam

Well, now we have our first motorhome we are planning a trip to somewhere near Amsterdam, does anyone have any recommendations (as close as possible or at least outside parking big enough for a MH)? This can be camping or wild.

Also, would we have to pull our fingers out and book or should we be ok? Our plan is to head over there around 30/ 31 Nov after a night or 2 in our favourite Bruges.

If anyone is heading/ is there then give us a shout, we are in a 1999 KonTiki (still trying to find our about stickers/ flags to advertise MHfun!!)

Hello we were in Amsterdam in Feb this year and also stayed at Brugge aire
we stayed atwww.campingzeeburg.nl/ , from there you can tram in to the center it was amazing.
We just turned up.

I also can recommend zeeburg, tends to be popular with young people and backpackers, but very handy for the city by tram. You can buy the tram/bus strip tickets from reception, but if staying longer you can get a weekly season ticket from the tourist office outside Centraal station.

Understanding written Dutch is fairly easy, just think of it as very badly spelt English, and you will usually get the drift .

We stayed at the above last April the tram stop is close by with bike racks so its easy to pedal to the tram then chain them up at the station for your return the site has everything you need and the small town is nearby I would stay again

We have been to holland several times but always stayed at Delt Haut.
Great site, walk in to Delft Trains and trams go to amsterdam and every where, site takes camping cheques but you do need to book
