Default Hot Heat & Sunshine..

Hi All.
Well having spent a few days at Parc-Verger,, we moved on down to "Balma" Toulouse and had a cracking nights stay with "Frankie" Yodeli,, If you get the chance invite yourself to her abode,, she loves visitors and if she makes you as welcome as she did us you will have a super time with a super family. "Thanks Frankie and family you are a stars.. I had a glass or six of the wine you gave us,, and very morefull it was to.. Thanks XXX, enjoy your powders and things,, and will see you net year..

We then moved on down to "Narbonne" stayed at the site La-Nautiqua,, and did a bit of site seeing, went to the walled city of "Carcassone" for those that have not been,, well worth a visit.

All through France and till we crossed the border into Spain we had horrendous winds and rain except the day we were at Frankie`s.. we are now staying at "Salou" for a few days before heading on down to the Costa Blanca..

Last time we did this route we aimed to fill up with LPG just after we crossed the border,, but low and behold they had run out of gas,, just managed to get to Salou on gas fumes and will now have to run on PETROL till we get near Alicanti where I know we can fill up..

Well that is it for a few days,, Hope you are all behaving and enjoying yourselves wherever and what ever you are doing.

Where did you stay in Salou? Last time I was there it had become a very motorhome unfriendly place; the campsites were closed and there were signs effectively banning motorhomes from parking. Next door to Salou at Cambrils was the same.

Hi "evans88" we were going to stay at Cambrills the Sanguli,, but my wife dropped a clanger and it was closed for the winter,, It`s a super site,, anyway after I had finished slapping her round the face for making a foofar, a nice police inspectoer came along and escorted me to "Jail",,, joking he took us to the only site open in the area "La-Pineda" which is between Salou and Tarragona",, not a bad site bit dear but heated out door pool and free wifi,, but for what they charge it should be.. pretty well empty except for a few Belgians and a couple of britts. not recomended for high type vehicles as each plot has those funny nurled tree`s and as the site is quite we had to park out in the roads cos we could not get under the tree`s on the plot... Dont know why it is so quite cos it is really sunny and hot, but very few shops and bars open,, like a bleedin ghost town..

Hi old-mo. There are 5 LPG stations around Barcelona and one just further south. Here is a link with a Map to click for any area of Spain.

SPAINAUTOGAS - Do you need a feel up?
