Smile Virus Warning

Hi All
Just checked my email and had one from the Martins Money Tips he is warning of a massive computer virus on the 24th Nov.
There are some links on his page for free anti-virus protection the web address is

iv always wondered about these pre-reported virus's.

do the anti-virus bods just sit and wait for them to appear then try to stopm them.......i doubt it.
if it exists they will have been preparing for it for a while now.

i'll trust my AVG and AOL anti-virus software to catch it.

Hi,
I cannot find any reference to a virus on 24 November but the antivirus protection may be worth looking at anyway.

Thanks for the info. I've just received and opened my weekly MSE e-mail, read the article, and am not too bothered as it reads to me as a bit of speculation by somebody.
Yahoo, Hotmail, Orange and Nortons anti-virus software should be enough, along with a bit of caution.
