looks like one to me john....similar to the one i just bought from aldi for £55.

usb powered (complete with usb dual cable), 250gig portable hard drive for laptops.

probably just a posh marketing name for a simple hard-drive

Yes it is. It's called a passport drive because its about the size of a passport.
Fits in a shirt pocket.

Amazon - change from 60 Quid

Cheers

Peter

Its a hard drive (2.5inch) and good value for the capacity. If anyone made a 250Gb memory stick that would be even better. Might have to wait a little while for that. They keep getting cheaper, the first one was only 4Gb and cost more!

Just to put it into perspective. 25 years ago the first Hard drives were 10MB were almost as big as a small Laptop and weighed more.

One of my customers of 15 years ago was just getting rid of their storage media.

A graphics/Computer setup with the big removable magnetic platters.

Much bigger... Size of 1/2 a dustbin

Put one of THOSE in your pocket and you'd know about it.
