Default DVD Viewer (Help needed please!!)

Hi Folks

Need a bit of help from you techy lot please

Ive got an oldish laptop that i take on holiday to keep in touch with work .

Its got a dvd player in it and it runs Windows XP and has Windows Media Player 11 for XP installed.

We are off on holiday on Monday (smashin!!!!) but the plane does not have any entertainment and my daughter would like to watch a DVD on the lappy.

I tried putting a DVD movie in last night to try it but it kept saying there was no DVD decoder installed to watch it

I thought everything you needed was pre-installed or on Media 11 but i guess i was wrong

Anyone know where to get the DVD decoder thingy I need from (preferably gratis!!)

Thanks in advance as always

Hi Dazzer
Had the same problem with a new little ASUS that I'm going to use for GPS, DVD and word processing whilst away.

Downloaded Product SKU: ESD-CINEPLAYER2.3
Product Name: Cineplayer DVD Decoder Pack 2.3.1 - ESD
Qty Ordered: 1
Roxio - CD Burning & DVD Burning Software - Creator Software
Cost £8.69
Works a treat.
