Thinking of treating myself (hope Steph isn't reading this) anyone using this combo? Any opinions please?

Hi Ken

Depends on your brand preference - we both have huge investment in Canon equipment so went with the Canon equivalent. Competent cameras, both manufacturers DSLRs. If you aren't locked to a particular brand, try to visit a dealer where you can actually hold the body just to give it a feel and see how it would handle.
