only two built can anyone give info on other motorhome and where it may be my van located edinburgh area model merc 208d cartight 208-19 as on carlight brochure this one has only covered 15k since new

Highs and Lows

Friday 17th October and we’ve had “Fred” the RV for a week now, and what a week it’s been.

Trying to start the RV again we discovered that the battery was completely dead and realised immediately that the Alternator was probably faulty. We called the RAC who promptly arrived within 30 minutes. The RAC man told us he would do his best but was “Unfamiliar with American Vehicles” and then proceeded to fiddle with Fred.

Doom Doom and More Doom!

So, here we are at Home Farm in Somerset after a hectic weekend trying to figure out how this monster works? Where do I start.....?
So Friday went well, we picked the RV up from Wales and I drove it back to the camp site. The journey was good as almost all of it was Motorway. We arrived at the site at about 7:30pm and found the Reception was closed. The sign on the door said “Late arrivals please report to the Conservatory Bar”. Frantic Friday

Friday, the BIG DAY has arrived, were off to Wales to see our new friend Les and pick up our new home. Lists have been made for everything we could think of and edited then edited again. We have sorted the Insurance and got a reasonably good deal at £630 per year including key cover and legal support and we called Les to comfirm 3pm for our meeting.
