Toutlemonde!

In 2008 we start a round the world trip in our Motorhome, a Rapido 972M first registered in 2002, which has already done 115,000kms or about 73,000m. The first part of the journey sees us drive from our home in France to Singapore, via Belgium, Holland, Germany, Poland, Belarus, Russia, Mongolia (including putting our baby on a flat bed train to cross the Gobi desert), China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaya and finally Singapore! That should take about 6 months and 23,000kms.

From they we have plans to ship it to Darwin in Australia and after another year, late 2009, to New Zealand. Spring 2010 hopefully will be the start of a voyage to San Diego California. From there North to Alaska and back across Canada to see New England in the fall. Then Route 66 and finally back to Europe via a crossing from Baltimore to Hamburg.

I will begin in the new year to post a weekly blog to show progress with the preparations and then the Journey which should start in June. If anyone one wants to tag along either physically or mentally then please let me know!
