Right!
An easier way would be to take out your old hard drive and set the jumpers to slave then fit it in your new putter!
Set the jumpers on your new hard drive to master!
Normally the cables are already installed for two hard drives but you can use the cables from a disc drive!
Then you basically use the hard drive on your new putter as a master drive and it will open your old one!
You could even leave the old hard drive in permanently and use it for extra storage!

Top Tip: Adding an extra hard disk
You then just use the same method as in the link!
