Yep - the cold is obviously the problem. Most we have suffered is -27

and the Kontiki was totally frozen. We drove down to the lake and I scooped up snow in a saucepan, heated it and gently thawed out the pipes

. The leisure battery froze which was also an issue. We are now more prepared. Leisure battery is relocated under the internal seat, pipes and floor lagged. We are ok now down to about -15. To survive properly you really need the water tanks and pipes in a double skinned floor. This is what we are hoping to buy soon
