Hi,

Recently returned from a few weeks in France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg and I really wonder if anyone can actually still say its Rip off Britain, I found only one thing that was relatively cheap and that was Diesel in Belgium and Luxembourg the Diesel in all of the others was very similar pricing to here unless you made a point of searching out supermarkets etc, as for the food, both to cook and eating out was expensive cloths in all of the countries were a lot more expensive, white goods including TV's etc prices made your eyes water, and car batteries etc you needed to take out a HP agreement, coupled with the bank charges that these countries make I really wonder should we still say Britain is a Rip Off

And camp sites that were basic albeit close to the Rhine 23€ per night out of season, and Aires 22.5€, and Electricity on Stelplatz 2€ for 3kWh.

What do you think,
